Hey, I'm Wasim.

I'm a software engineer based in San Francisco, and I make products that help teams move faster and do their best work. I spend a lot of time thinking about who I'm building for, what they're trying to do, and what's actually in their way.

I'm currently building AI products and tools at Arcadia, an early-stage biotech startup. One of those is Data Hub, an open-source platform that makes lab instrument data accessible to people, pipelines, and agents.

Prior to that, I worked at Agilent, where I developed automated tests that eliminated months of manual testing and caught bugs before customers did. And before that, I shipped internal tools for scientists at Biohub to accelerate mass spectrometry data analysis.

In my free time, I like to read, make lattes, lift weights, go for hikes, and make music. I play guitar, bass, and drums, usually in my bedroom but occasionally with friends. On the weekends, you'll probably find me visiting coffee shops, practicing retail therapy, or watching the sunset at the park.

This website is my collection of works and writings. It's still (and always) a work in progress. Welcome! Check out my projects, read my blog, and feel free to say hello.
